In addition to her primary care work, Dr. Moore-Waters specializes in helping patients and their families prevent health problems. She has created successful cooking classes that teach patients how to make healthier meals for their whole family. These classes will soon be available as podcasts. She has also given many talks about common health issues like diabetes, obesity, heart disease, and stroke, to educate her patients about their healthcare choices. Dr. Waters goes the extra mile by creating health plans that include changes to a patient's overall lifestyle, with the goal of improving their quality of life.
